Mistrick notes

Mistrick endings, controls and content warnings

A spoiler-light guide to Mistrick browser play, keyboard controls, endings, playtime and official content warnings.

Fast read
  • The official page says the main browser version is keyboard-only.
  • Mistrick lists three endings, thirteen unique deaths and 40-60 minutes of gameplay.
  • The official content warning includes blood, violence, murder and kidnapping.

Play setup first

Before judging Mistrick on a phone or tablet, check the input note. Hatoge says the game can only be played with a keyboard, while the mobile port uses a virtual keyboard and has separate instructions.

That means the browser build is best approached from a desktop or laptop if you want the least friction.

Endings without spoiling the route

The official page lists three endings and thirteen unique ways to die. That is useful information before you start because Mistrick is built for replay and route checking, not only one straight clear.

If you get stuck, Hatoge points players to a downloadable walkthrough and notes that characters can give hints through dialogue.

Content and context

Mistrick is comedic, but the official content warning still includes blood, violence, murder and kidnapping. The page also explains its connection to Misfiction: Mistrick is a spin-off, but the creator says it can be understood on its own.
